Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the apps published by GCDev, including PMT (Payment).

Information we collect

GCDev doesn't collect, store or share personal information. Values you enter, such as loan amounts, rates and terms, are used for calculations on your device, and we never receive them.

iCloud sync

PMT can save your loans and keep them in sync across your devices. Saved loans are stored on your device and, if you're signed in to iCloud, copied to your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. That data belongs to you and is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. GCDev can't see it.

Interest rate data

To suggest a starting interest rate, PMT downloads publicly available rate tables from Freddie Mac (freddiemac.com) and from the Federal Reserve through the St. Louis Fed's FRED service (fred.stlouisfed.org). These requests don't include any of your loan details or personal information. As with any internet request, those sites can see your device's IP address, and they handle it under their own privacy policies.

Analytics and tracking

The apps use no analytics, advertising or tracking services, and they don't track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties

The apps don't send your data to any third party. The only services involved are Apple's iCloud, which you control, and the public rate downloads described above.

Children's privacy

Because the apps collect no personal information, they don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
